The First Client

When PREOKA Ltd launched in October 2024, the website barely had three pages. There was no advertising budget, no big launch — just a simple idea and a big dream. One evening, an email arrived from a French-speaking freelancer in Montreal: "I’m stuck. I don’t know how to grow. Can you help?"
Without hesitation, we booked a Zoom call the next day. The conversation lasted over an hour — not about algorithms or business plans, but about fears, identity, and finding the courage to offer something valuable. That freelancer became our very first coaching client. Within six weeks, she had landed two new contracts, doubled her rates, and launched her first email campaign.
We realized that PREOKA wasn’t just about knowledge. It was about unlocking people. That one story has shaped everything since.

The Power Outage

In early 2025, we were preparing to launch our very first online course: "Launch Your Freelance Career." The videos were ready, the emails were scheduled, and the campaign was set to go live at 10 a.m. sharp on a Monday morning.
At 9:47 a.m., a sudden blackout struck our neighborhood in Sofia. No Wi-Fi. No coffee. No way to restart the server. For twenty seconds, panic set in. But then — calm. This is why we built a distributed system. Our platform was hosted in the cloud, and our assistant in Morocco had access to the backend. Within minutes, she published the page from her end. The course launched on time.
We learned something that day: resilience isn’t a feature — it’s a mindset.

The International Classroom

What started as a small coaching company in Bulgaria quickly became a virtual classroom without borders. In April 2025, we ran a group coaching program for freelancers — with participants from Belgium, Senegal, Canada, and Tunisia.
At first, we worried about the time zones, accents, and cultural nuances. Would it work? Would people connect?
What happened surprised us. Not only did they connect — they thrived together. One participant shared a new workflow she created with Notion. Another explained how to pitch clients in a competitive market. They exchanged tools, reviewed each other’s websites, and even collaborated on a joint offer.
By the final week, it no longer felt like a course. It felt like a global support circle, rooted in mutual respect and shared ambition.
That moment changed the way we design our programs: not just to transfer knowledge, but to build ecosystems of trust across continents.
